We hope are staying safe and well in these difficult times.

As previously communicated over the last year or so, we have now received an urgent notice from our solicitors in Cyprus.

We are emailing regarding the aforementioned companies for which a new legislation has passed regarding all Legal Entities / Companies registered in the Republic of Cyprus where by the 12th of March 2022, the true and ultimate beneficial owners (“UBO”) of the company (all companies for that matter) must be declared / registered through a specific online platform. 

Regardless whether the true and ultimate beneficial owners already appear in the company (i.e. appointed shareholders) this must still take place for all Cyprus Companies. 

Every shareholder must provide their UBO information regardless of size of holding. The data required being name, DOB, current passport details, origin of investment, address and copies of passport, proof of address not less than 6 months old and two references (bank and accountant). If you contact us we can assist with completing the forms for you.

Failure to comply until the deadline provided will result to a fine of €100 being imposed DAILY from the 12th of March until full compliance.

If you have already provided your UBO information then we thank you. 

If you have not then please reply to this email to confirm the fastest and easiest way we can ensure you comply. If you are unable to comply then there is a risk your shares will be struck off from the Company.

Please also confirm your current contact details so we can ensure our files are up to date.

In respect of the land in Pissouri we will marketing the land for sale in the Spring 2022 alongside seeking an institutional investor to develop the land for a Housing Scheme for Medium-Income Households.

In respect of the land in Tochni we are applying for planning permission for a multi villa project with a shared pool.
